Thai Foreign Minister Siehasak Phuengkitkeow announced on Monday that defense officials from both nations will meet on December 24 to resume the border ceasefire, two weeks after clashes killed 80 and displaced half a million.
The decision followed an ASEAN meeting in Malaysia, where Thailand proposed talks at the Chanthaburi border via the joint committee, emphasizing Cambodia’s commitment and the need for demining.
