Thailand said on Saturday that four of its soldiers were killed in renewed clashes along the border with Cambodia, hours after U.S. President Donald Trump said the two countries had agreed to halt the fighting.

Defence Ministry spokesman Surasant Kongsiri told a news conference that the soldiers were killed during clashes in the Chong An Ma border area, bringing the total number of Thai military deaths since fighting began on Monday to 14.
