The Health Ministry in Gaza announced on Monday the registration of three deaths from Guillain-Barré syndrome, in which the immune system attacks nerves.

It warned of a sharp increase in cases of paralysis among children due to unusual infections and malnutrition.

Tests revealed non-polio enteroviruses in an environment conducive to the spread of infectious diseases due to deteriorating health conditions.
