The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Friday the deaths of three individuals, including two children, within 24 hours due to hunger and malnutrition, raising the death toll to 162, including 92 children.
The ministry described the situation as a “complete humanitarian collapse,” calling for immediate international intervention.
A UN official confirmed that malnutrition indicators in the sector have surpassed the limits of “mass hunger,” warning that over 320,000 children are at risk of severe malnutrition amid restricted aid access.
