Turkey, Jordan, and Syria signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation in transport and establish a north–south regional corridor.

The Turkish Minister of Transport stated that the project aims to support trade and improve supply chains by developing infrastructure and reducing transit costs.

The agreement also includes plans to revive the Hejaz Railway and build modern lines linking the three countries.

The project is expected to help connect the region to Europe and boost economic growth.
