U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to impose “very severe” tariffs of up to 100% on Russia within 50 days if an agreement to stop the war in Ukraine is not reached.

This came during Trump’s meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte at the White House, where he expressed his “disappointment” with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Rutte confirmed NATO’s support for Ukraine with significant amounts of weapons and defensive equipment.
