The White House announced that U.S. President Donald Trump will host the leaders of Rwanda, Paul Kagame, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Félix Tshisekedi, on Thursday to sign a peace agreement.

White House spokeswoman Caroline Levitt said on Monday that the two leaders will sign a “historic peace and economic agreement mediated by President Trump”, highlighting the significance of the initiative for regional stability.
