U.S. President Donald Trump urged the Israeli occupation to maintain “open communication channels” with Syria following the recent military operation in Beit Jann, warning against any move that could threaten stability in the country.

Trump praised Syria’s new president, Ahmad Al-Shar’a, saying he is “working hard to deliver positive results,” and added that lifting sanctions on Syria has helped “support the state’s path toward prosperity.”

His comments came as he invited Netanyahu to visit the White House.
