Tunisia secured its spot at the 2026 FIFA World Cup after a dramatic 1-0 victory over Equatorial Guinea in Group H of the African qualifiers.
Al Ahly midfielder Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane scored the decisive goal in stoppage time (90+4), sealing the Carthage Eagles’ seventh World Cup appearance and third in a row.
With 22 points, Tunisia tops the group and is out of reach for Namibia, becoming the second African team to qualify after Morocco and the third Arab nation after Morocco and Jordan.
