A Turkish court on Friday issued arrest warrants for 37 officials from the Israeli occupation, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, on charges of “genocide” and “crimes against humanity” in Gaza.
The Istanbul Prosecutor’s Office said the case is based on evidence and testimonies from activists detained by the Israeli occupation during attempts to break the blockade.
In response, Tel Aviv described Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as a “tyrant,” marking a sharp escalation in the diplomatic rift between the two sides.
