NATO’s “Steadfast Dart 2026” exercise in Germany featured a joint amphibious demonstration involving Turkish and Spanish armed forces, Turkey’s defence ministry said on Thursday.

In a post on the Turkish social media platform “In Sosyal,” the ministry said the maritime phase of the exercise was successfully carried out at the Putlos military training area in Germany.

It added that a comprehensive amphibious drill was conducted with the participation of Turkish and Spanish personnel, sharing footage from the exercise.

NATO’s Allied Joint Force Command is conducting the “Steadfast Dart 26” drills in Germany from Feb. 8 to Feb. 20.
