Two Injured After Truck Drives Into Pro-Iran Protest Crowd in Los Angeles

U.S. media reported that at least two people were slightly injured after a driver rammed a truck into a crowd of demonstrators during a rally in solidarity with protests in Iran, in the Westwood neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department said the two injured individuals were treated at the scene but declined transportation to a hospital. Fire officials added that they were attempting to locate a third person who may also have been injured, but the size of the crowd made this difficult.

Cities across the United States and Europe have been witnessing daily demonstrations in support of protesters in Iran, as anti-government protests there enter their third week in several cities, amid a continued nationwide internet blackout.
