The Israeli army announced that two soldiers were injured, one of them seriously, after an explosive drone crashed near its forces in southern Lebanon.

In a statement, it said the injured were transferred for treatment without providing further details.

According to official figures, the number of wounded among its forces has risen to 411 since the start of the war with Iran and Lebanon.

The incident comes amid a media blackout regarding the scale of losses, as clashes with Hezbollah continue to escalate.
