Two people were killed and three others injured on Thursday after debris from a ballistic missile intercepted by UAE air defenses fell near Abu Dhabi, officials said.
The Abu Dhabi Media Office said in a post on X that authorities responded to the incident in Sweihan Street, where debris scattered following the successful interception.
The incident resulted in two fatalities, whose identities have not yet been confirmed, and three injuries, along with damage to several vehicles.
