Two powerful earthquakes struck the southern Philippines within hours, killing at least seven people and injuring hundreds.
The tremors triggered landslides and caused severe cracks in buildings and schools across Davao Oriental and Davao de Oro provinces.
The country was gripped by panic less than two weeks after a deadly quake devastated parts of the central Philippines, killing dozens.
Rescue teams continue operations amid warnings of further aftershocks that could worsen damage and trigger additional landslides in mountainous areas.
