Jordanian authorities announced the killing of two wanted individuals and the injury of three security personnel during a raid carried out by a special force in the Ramtha area in the north of the country.

The Public Security Directorate explained that the two wanted brothers held “extremist takfiri ideological views” and were involved in important investigative cases, noting that they used their mother as a human shield before the force managed to extract her safely.

The operation comes as part of broader efforts to pursue wanted individuals and dismantle extremist cells in northern Jordan.
