The United States and Ukraine have agreed on an updated framework for a peace plan following “constructive” discussions in Geneva, attended by senior officials from France, Germany, and the United Kingdom.

The European Union is expected to review the developments during its upcoming summit with African leaders in Angola, where EU heads will be briefed on the progress of negotiations.

The revised framework aims to develop joint proposals for ending the war and initiating a political process, in line with EU efforts to support the U.S.-led initiative.
