U.S. Justice Department Begins Release of Long-Awaited Epstein Investigation Files

The U.S. Justice Department on Friday began releasing long-awaited documents from the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein, a move that could carry significant political implications.

The records are expected to shed light on Epstein’s ties to prominent business figures, celebrities and politicians, including President Donald Trump. However, it remains unclear how the documents were selected, as the Trump administration is overseeing the release process in full.

The large batch of files includes seven pages listing the names of 254 “masseuses,” all of which were fully redacted on the grounds of protecting the information of potential victims.

The documents also contain numerous previously unpublished photographs, including one image showing former President Bill Clinton appearing younger while reclining in a hot tub, with part of the photograph obscured by a black rectangle.
