The U.S. military said it struck a vessel in the eastern Pacific Ocean, killing three men, in the latest such incident in recent months.

In a post on X, the military said the vessel had been “engaged in drug smuggling operations.”

President Donald Trump’s administration has highlighted what it describes as successful efforts to destroy vessels suspected of trafficking narcotics in the region as part of a broader crackdown.
