The United Arab Emirates announced the successful mediation of a new prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine, resulting in the release of 292 captives from both sides.

This brings the total number of prisoners freed under Emirati-brokered deals to 4,641.

Both Moscow and Kyiv expressed their appreciation for the UAE’s role as a trusted mediator supporting efforts to end the conflict.
