Authorities announced Saturday the resumption of operations at Dubai International Airport after a temporary suspension introduced “to ensure the safety of passengers, staff and flight crews.”
Dubai’s Government Media Office said Emirates resumed its operations on Saturday afternoon, urging passengers with confirmed bookings — including transit travelers — to proceed to the airport.
Authorities had earlier announced a temporary halt to airport operations following what was described as a “limited incident” in the city, while denying circulating reports that the airport had been targeted by drone attacks.
