UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed arrived in Cairo on Monday for a fraternal visit of unspecified duration to meet Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

According to the UAE news agency WAM, President Sisi was at the airport to welcome the Emirati leader. The Egyptian presidency stated that the visit underscores the historic and deep-rooted brotherly relations between the two nations, and reflects both leaders’ commitment to strengthening and building upon decades of achievements.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed last visited Egypt on August 25, meeting President Sisi in Al-Alamein in the country’s north, in a multi-day official visit.
