The United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and Norway imposed sanctions on Tuesday against two ministers in the Israeli occupation government, Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben Gvir, due to their repeated incitement to violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.

The sanctions include travel bans and asset freezes.

The Israeli Foreign Minister described the decision as “unacceptable.”
