The United Kingdom is set to welcome former U.S. President Donald Trump for a two-day state visit on Wednesday and Thursday, marking the first time an American president has made a second official visit to Britain. Trump previously visited London in 2019, where he met the late Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace.
According to Agence France-Presse, the British government will organize a formal motorcade alongside King Charles III, an aerial display, and a royal dinner at Windsor Castle.
Trump is also expected to meet with a delegation of U.S. business leaders at the residence of Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, where officials say they will sign a “world-leading technology partnership” and a “major civil nuclear deal.” The agreements aim to strengthen economic and strategic ties between the two nations.
