UK report reveals scramble by Trump allies for Gaza aid and reconstruction contracts

A report by Britain’s Guardian has revealed intense competition among individuals close to U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration and Republican-linked companies to secure contracts related to humanitarian aid and future reconstruction efforts in the Gaza Strip.

According to sources and documents reviewed by the newspaper, the proposed plan calls for appointing a “main contractor” to deliver around 600 trucks of humanitarian aid and commercial goods to Gaza each day.

The documents also suggest charging a fee of $2,000 per humanitarian shipment and $12,000 per commercial truck, raising concerns over the commercialization of aid delivery and its impact on humanitarian access.
