Ukraine’s Air Force said Sunday that Russia launched at least 805 drones and 13 missiles against the country from Saturday night to Sunday morning, marking the largest aerial assault since the war began in February 2022.
In a statement on Telegram, the Air Force reported that its units “detected and tracked 818 aerial targets,” adding that Ukrainian defenses shot down or intercepted 747 drones and four missiles.
The massive attack underscores Moscow’s intensifying air campaign, which Kyiv warns is aimed at exhausting Ukraine’s air defenses and weakening its military resilience.
