Ukraine’s security services announced that locally manufactured naval drones struck the Russian oil tankers Kairos and Virat in the Black Sea, both part of what is known as the “shadow fleet” used by Moscow to evade sanctions.
An intelligence official said the documented footage shows unmanned boats heading toward the two vessels before powerful explosions ignited fires on board.
The strikes occurred off the Turkish coast, in a series of attacks that reflect Kyiv’s increasing use of offensive naval drones against Russian targets.
