The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Friday that it will block the issuance or renewal of visas for officials of the Palestine Liberation Organization and the Palestinian Authority, ahead of the United Nations General Assembly in September.

According to a statement from the U.S. State Department, the decision comes in response to Palestinians resorting to the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice to prosecute the Israeli occupation for its violations in the occupied territories.
