U.S. President Donald Trump announced an immediate increase in the global tariff rate from 10% to 15%, following a Supreme Court ruling on trade duties.

Trump criticized the court’s decision as “disappointing,” asserting that the new increase falls within legally permitted executive powers.

He added that his administration would continue reviewing trade policies in the coming months, describing the move as strengthening protection of the American economy.
