The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) warned that harsh weather conditions in the Gaza Strip are worsening an already deteriorating humanitarian crisis, pushing it toward a critical stage that threatens the lives of hundreds of thousands.
The agency said that a severe shortage of essential aid, particularly shelter materials and medicines, is intensifying suffering, as many shelters continue to collapse or become uninhabitable.
UNRWA added that heavy rainfall and flooding, combined with fragile infrastructure, are exposing thousands of displaced families to growing risks, warning that the humanitarian situation will continue to deteriorate without urgent and effective assistance.
