The Gaza Ministry of Health announced on Saturday that a convoy of trucks carrying urgently needed medicines and medical supplies is set to enter the Gaza Strip today, to be distributed to hospitals under the coordination of the World Health Organization (WHO). The ministry clarified that the convoy contains no food items.

In an official statement, the ministry emphasized the critical importance of the incoming supplies, describing them as essential for the continued delivery of medical care to wounded and ill patients. The supplies are urgently needed to support overstretched hospitals and help save lives.

The ministry appealed to citizens, local leaders, families, and concerned parties to assist in safeguarding the convoy and to avoid any interference that could hinder the trucks’ safe arrival. It urged all to facilitate secure and uninterrupted access for the convoy to reach healthcare facilities as quickly as possible.
