US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced that American forces conducted an airstrike in the Caribbean, killing three people aboard a vessel “operated by a designated terrorist organization.”
Hegseth said the operation was authorized by President Donald Trump, stressing that Washington “will continue its strikes until drug cartels and terror groups stop poisoning the American people.”
It marks the latest in a series of attacks targeting what the administration calls “narco-terror networks.”
