The Washington Post reported that US forces will oversee the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza as part of a ceasefire plan proposed by President Donald Trump.

The US Civil-Military Coordination Center will manage border crossings instead of the Israeli occupation, though security coordination will remain in place.

The move comes amid warnings from Gaza’s Health Ministry of a “critical shortage” of medicines and supplies due to strict Israeli restrictions.
