Iranian state television reported early Monday, March 30, 2026, that Tehran and other cities were targeted in a series of US-Israeli airstrikes, hitting vital infrastructure and economic facilities.
According to official sources, the strikes targeted Mehrabad International Airport in western Tehran, marking the first direct hit on the airport itself since the war began. The airport is currently largely inactive, with flights suspended.
Media reports also indicated that residential areas in Tehran were struck, resulting in a number of injuries, though no exact toll has been confirmed.
Additional strikes reportedly hit a branch of Iran’s national bank and a cardboard factory in southern parts of the capital, as attacks on infrastructure continue to escalate.
