Vance: No Deal Yet with Iran as U.S. Presents “Final Offer”

U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance said on Sunday that talks with Iran have ended without an agreement, noting that Washington has presented what he described as its “final and best offer” before departing Islamabad.

Speaking to reporters after 21 hours of negotiations in the Pakistani capital, Vance said the U.S. is now awaiting Tehran’s response. “We’ll see whether the Iranians accept it,” he stated.

He indicated that the United States is still allowing Iran time to consider the proposal, following a previously announced two-week pause in military operations to facilitate diplomatic efforts.

The remarks come amid intensified efforts to contain escalating tensions, with Iran’s response expected to shape the next phase of developments.
