Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodríguez said on Saturday, January 3, 2026, in an audio recording broadcast on state television, that the government does not know the whereabouts of President Nicolás Maduro or his wife, Cilia Flores.

Rodríguez added, “We demand immediate proof that President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores are alive.”
