The 10th edition of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) will take place from September 3 to 6, 2025, on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University on Russky Island, bringing together representatives from more than 70 countries.
The forum’s program includes plenary sessions, open discussions, roundtables, and specialized workshops, providing a platform to strengthen international economic cooperation.
Established by a presidential decree in 2015, the EEF regularly features Russian President Vladimir Putin in its general sessions.
Over the past decade, Russia’s Far Eastern region has recorded notable economic growth, including a 99% increase in fixed capital investment, a 33% rise in industrial output, and a 33% expansion in the mining sector, attracting total investments exceeding 10.5 trillion rubles (approximately $132 billion).
