The first nor’easter of the winter season caused widespread travel disruptions in the United States, with more than 5,300 flights canceled or delayed, including several transatlantic routes.
Chicago O’Hare Airport recorded more than eight inches of snow, marking the highest November snowfall on record.
The National Weather Service issued warnings for hazardous conditions, including black ice, fog, and heavy snow, which compounded post-holiday travel difficulties.
