krainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said he believes Russian President Vladimir Putin has “already started” a third world war, in an interview with the BBC.

Speaking from Kyiv over the weekend ahead of the fourth anniversary of the war between Russia and Ukraine on Tuesday, Zelenskiy said his view of the conflict differs from that of U.S. President Donald Trump.

In remarks published late Sunday London time and translated from Ukrainian into English by the BBC, Zelenskiy said: “We have different views regarding World War Three. I believe Putin has already started it. The question is how much territory he will be able to seize and how he can be stopped.”

There was no immediate comment from the Kremlin.
