Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Saturday rejected a proposal from Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to meet in Moscow, instead inviting him to come to Kyiv.
Speaking to ABC News, Zelensky said: “(Putin) can come to Kyiv. I cannot go to Moscow while my country is under daily missile attacks. I cannot visit the capital of a terrorist.”
He added that Putin has “no genuine intention” to end the war, accusing him of offering “unacceptable proposals” aimed at stalling diplomatic efforts.
