French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a declaration of intent in Paris on Tuesday regarding the deployment of a multinational force after a ceasefire in Ukraine.
Macron said the force aims to “provide security guarantees in the days following the cessation of fighting,” stressing that the initiative comes as part of allied efforts to unify positions toward Moscow as the war enters its fourth year.
