Tennis dominated the Laureus World Sports Awards in Madrid, with Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz and Belarus’ Aryna Sabalenka winning Best Sportsman and Best Sportswoman of 2025.

The accolades followed an exceptional season in which both topped global rankings, with Alcaraz winning the French Open and US Open, while Sabalenka claimed the US Open title and reached two other Grand Slam finals.

The ceremony also honored Lamine Yamal as Breakthrough of the Year, and Paris Saint-Germain as Team of the Year.
