Israeli forces continued escalating military operations in southern Lebanon, targeting nearly 30 areas with airstrikes and artillery shelling despite the announcement of a 45-day extension of the ceasefire.
The strikes targeted several towns, including Breqaa, Al-Mansouri, Tebnine, and Al-Shaabiya, while drones conducted intensive flights over Beirut and its suburbs.
The Israeli army also issued evacuation warnings for nine southern towns, triggering a new wave of displacement toward Sidon and Beirut amid fears of the collapse of the fragile truce along the border.
