Sixteen people were killed, and dozens were injured following a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting areas in southern and eastern Lebanon, marking a new violation of the fragile ceasefire agreement in effect since April.

According to Lebanese sources, the attacks included air raids, artillery shelling, and demolition operations, while Lebanon’s Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the Israeli offensive since March has exceeded 3,000, with thousands more injured.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military reported that one soldier was killed and two others wounded after a drone launched from Lebanon exploded in northern Israeli territory.
