The death toll from Israeli strikes on southern Lebanon on Saturday rose to 14, including three members of the Lebanese Armed Forces, while eight others were injured.
The Lebanese Army said two officers and one soldier were killed when a military vehicle was targeted in the Nabatieh district. Another strike on the town of Saksakiyeh also resulted in multiple casualties.
The attacks triggered a new wave of displacement, as Lebanese President Joseph Aoun called on the international community to act to stop repeated Israeli attacks.
