The Lebanese Army announced the death of soldier Mohammad Suleiman Al-Ahmad, who succumbed to injuries sustained during an Israeli airstrike targeting the area of Qaqaait Al-Jisr in Nabatieh last March.

The announcement raises the number of military personnel killed since the beginning of the conflict in March to 30 soldiers.

The incident comes amid continued attacks in southern Lebanon despite a fragile ceasefire that has been in place since April and has been marked by repeated violations.
