Documents released Tuesday by the U.S. Office of Government Ethics show that President Donald Trump reported approximately $1.2 billion in income from cryptocurrency-related activities during 2025.
Under a 1978 federal law, the U.S. president and vice president are required to disclose their income and financial assets.
The more than 900 pages of filings indicate that Trump earned about $550 million through his ties to the cryptocurrency venture World Liberty Financial.
The Trump family backed the platform, which launched in September 2024. The company also introduced its own cryptocurrency, WLFI, whose initial token sale generated about $550 million.
