The spiritual leadership of the Druze in Syria announced its rejection of the entry of any security forces, including the Syrian General Security and Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, into Sweida province, accusing them of participating in the bombing of villages and supporting extremist groups.

They called for immediate international protection, holding anyone seeking to introduce security forces “fully responsible.”

The death toll has reached 89 since Sunday morning.
