Several Italian cities witnessed a general strike affecting the transportation, education, and logistics sectors in protest against militarization policies and in opposition to the Israeli attack on the “Global Steadfastness Flotilla.”

The strike caused disruptions to metro lines and public transportation services in Rome, Milan, and Naples.

Protesters called on the Italian government to halt its military and political support for the Israeli occupation.

Meanwhile, Hebrew media outlets reported that Israeli naval forces detained 100 activists aboard the “Global Steadfastness Flotilla,” which was heading toward Gaza in an attempt to break the blockade imposed on the territory.
