Khartoum Criticizes Rapid Support Forces’ Humanitarian Truce as “Political Maneuver”

Sudanese Information Minister Khalid Al-Aysar criticized RSF leader Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo’s declaration of a three-month unilateral humanitarian truce, calling it a “transparent political maneuver detached from reality.”

The announcement followed an Amnesty report accusing RSF of committing war crimes in Al-Fashir.

Dagalo said his forces would facilitate aid access, while the army continues to reject international ceasefire proposals.
